I’d like to update you on the latest of what’s happening to bring together the ways of working of Lifestyle Solutions and Possability.

Planning work to bring together Lifestyle Solutions and Possability is gaining momentum with the standing up of the Integration Management Office.

The Integration Management Office (IMO) is the team that is dedicated to preparing and executing plans to join together the two organisations so we have united ways of working. This is not a simple process, and having this dedicated team, we are able to minimise disruptions to your important day-to-day work.

Integration vision and principles

Our vision for the integration is that we become a stronger and more sustainable organisation. We will do this with a priority on the quality and continuity of services to the people we support.

As we join together our ways of working, we will be guided by three key principles:

• Maintain a focus on quality

• Share and learn from one another

• Change for good.

CEO Drew Beswick and I spoke about this in the recent online staff forum.

IMO team structure

The integration work is being broken up into five different streams (see diagram) and the leaders of these streams of work has been finalised.

We are fortunate to have had a number of external professionals join the team to lead some of the streams who have considerable knowledge and experience in this type of work, while we are also drawing on some of our internal expertise. Find out more about the team here.

The selection of subject matter experts to participate in each team is currently being finalised. If you have been nominated, your manager will let you know.
