Announcing Extended Leadership Group

Updated: Jan 24, 2023

Over the past month, the Possability and Lifestyle leadership teams have continued to focus on delivering exceptional services across the many communities that we serve. In addition to this, we have been planning and commencing work on the integration activities.

Today I’m sharing the confirmed leadership accountabilities of what we are calling our ‘Extended Leadership Group'. Effective today, this leadership group will be responsible for leading our combined group through the integration of our systems, processes, ways of working and importantly our people over the next six to seven months. This work is being supported by the Integration team.

As a group, our purpose is to support people to pursue their potential and achieve what is important to them. We are a services led group and the Extended Leadership Group structure reflects this.

As we move through the coming weeks and months, this Extended Leadership Group will be focussed on understanding functional responsibilities and the required capabilities we will need to be successful.

Part of my ongoing commitment to you all is to continue to provide you with certainty as and when I can moving through this integration process. Now that we have clarity on our leadership responsibilities for integration, we can turn our focus to understanding the specific system decisions we need to make, in addition to combining and clarifying our processes and ways of working into one. We will also take the time to consider the types of roles and capabilities that we will need post June 2023, to support our combined and much larger organisation.

The announcement of the Extended Leadership Group does not signal change to any other part of the organisation. It does not change current business as usual reporting lines or structures.

As mentioned in previous communications, we have a dedicated Integration Management Office supporting our integration activities. With the integration team now fully staffed, work is starting to ramp up. The integration work is happening separately to business as usual, so that it does not affect the important daily work we do.

I’d like to emphasise again how important it is that we retain continuity of services and operations during the integration. The Extended Leadership Group will ensure we can continue to operate with our existing employees and structures as we work towards finalising our combined group structure by 30 June 2023.

I’m excited about the future we all have as part of a stronger group which can bring positive change to the people we support and grow our positive social impact.

If you have any questions or concerns, I encourage you to speak to your supervisor or email us at questions@possability.com.au / questions@lifestylesolutions.org.au

Kind regards,

Drew Beswick
