The results are in!

Updated: Feb 10, 2023

The results are in for the staff survey that went to all Lifestyle Solutions and Possability staff in December—the goal was to get some feedback around how people are feeling about the merger and what their expectations are of the integration process. The survey also asked staff what the important things to hold onto are, and where are the greatest opportunities.

Details of the survey were discussed in a all staff forum, you can view the presentation and an overview of the survey results here.

Feedback indicates that there is a high level of support for the merger among employees – with only 10% of people disagreeing with the statement:

“The merger of Lifestyle Solutions and Possability will make us a stronger and more sustainable organisation.”

What’s really important is that the priorities of our people reflect the Key Principals of the Integration. We agree the top priority is to retain our focus on providing quality services to the people we support.

The survey indicates that the top three benefits of joining together are:

  • Knowledge and skills sharing

  • A stronger, sustainable and stable organisation, both for employees and the people we support

  • Better services and outcomes for the people we support.

“Combining the strengths of our organisations to better support people with disability.”

The responses made clear that there is an appetite to unify processes and systems—to bring together the best from both organisations to improve services for the people we serve and support employees.

This survey is one of the multiple ways the IMO Team is listening to, and engaging with employees—our experts. We’re committed to uncovering potential barriers to integration and working with people to really understand the implications of decisions and changes. So if you have any questions, comments or feedback please reach out to either questions@lifestylesolutions.org.au or questions@possability.com.au

Employees can also fill in the Expression of Interest Form.
